2023 - 13: Lewis Capaldi and Lizzo

Clara Amfo introduces two of the biggest pop artists on the planet.

First up on the Pyramid Stage is self-proclaimed Scottish Beyoncé, singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi. The hitmaker returns to Glastonbury having recently scored his second Number 1 album, Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent, which became the biggest selling album of the year. So crowd sing-a-longs and Capaldi's witty onstage patter are guaranteed.

Following Capaldi on the Pyramid Stage is Grammy award-winning US popstar Lizzo, who returns to Worthy Farm after her triumphant 2019 set. With two albums Cuz I Love You and Special, full of hook-laden hits, an infectiously positive attitude and a flute called Sasha, her set promises to be a high-energy euphoric and unifying experience like no other.
