A creature, cursed from birth, haunts the lands around a dark forest, striking fear into all those who catch a glimpse of the Jersey Devil and live to tell the tale. The stones of a once sacred building are used to build a mansion for a Scottish Earl, triggering an angered abbot to damn the Erskine family for generations.
